I am happy to care for babies and children in nappies. However, I ask that nappies, wipes and any creams are provided by parents/guardians.

I will provide a changing mat, which will be cleaned with either disinfectant or antibacterial wipes after each use.

I will change children’s nappies regularly and immediately if they have soiled a nappy.

I believe that changing a nappy should provide lots of opportunity to communicate with children and as their understanding grows provide time to discuss basic hygiene issues, preparing them for potty training.

Potty Training

I am happy to support parents/guardians with toilet training when they feel their child is ready. It is very important that we work together to potty train children and pick a suitable time to do it
